Question

Mufti Saab. My cousin did her Tawaf and later realized she only did 6 rounds and didn't complete the 7th one. How does she make up for that?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

For missing one round from the ṭawāf, a sadaqah equivalent to half a measure of ṣāʻ of wheat would need to be distributed to the poor [1]. Contemporary scholars have a difference of opinion with regards to how much half a ṣāʻ is equivalent to with the safest opinion being that it is approximately 2.32 kilograms.
