Question:

I was laying with my wife and we got excited, I just touched her private parts and after some time she got orgasm but we didn’t had intercourse, what is the ruling for both of us? Jazakallah thanks

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Regarding sexual relations without penetration while fasting, both husband and wife must be very cautious. The key rule is that the fast does not break unless one ejaculates. If one does ejaculate, their fast will be broken.

However, please note that sexual relations with penetration will break the fast irrespective of ejaculation.

(أَوْ وَطِئَ امْرَأَةً مَيِّتَةً) أَوْ صَغِيرَةً لَا تُشْتَهَى نَهْرٌ (أَوْ بَهِيمَةً أَوْ فَخِذًا أَوْ بَطْنًا أَوْ قَبَّلَ) وَلَوْ قُبْلَةً فَاحِشَةً بِأَنْ يُدَغْدِغُ أَوْ يَمُصُّ شَفَتَيْهَا (أَوْ لَمَسَ) وَلَوْ بِحَائِلٍ لَا يَمْنَعُ الْحَرَارَةَ أَوْ اسْتَنْمَا بِكَفِّهِ أَوْ بِمُبَاشَرَةٍ فَاحِشَةٍ وَلَوْ بَيْنَ الْمَرْأَتَيْنِ (فَأَنْزَلَ) قَيْدٌ لِلْكُلِّ حَتَّى لَوْ لَمْ يُنْزِلْ لَمْ يُفْطِرْ كَمَا مَرَّ.
