Question:
If I, who live in Germany, tell my sister in SA I have 100 euros of yours with me, she says okie perfect. Then she says pls give that 100 euros of mine in zakaat as I need to pay my zakaat. Is this permissible?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
If you possessed 100 euros of your sister’s money and she appointed you to her pay Zakah on her behalf using that money, then that would be permissible and her Zakah would be fulfilled [1].
