Question:
Do hujjaj have to do their own Jummah in Mina if they are not musafir?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
One of the conditions for Jummah is residency. When you are a hujjaj there is no residency, therefore nullifying the right of Jummah taking place in Mina.[1] But if he is not a musafir, then Jummah can take place.[2]
