Question:
Can a woman in iddah after being divorced (twice by ex- husband, not reconciled and is no longer his wife) go to the Masjid for Tarawih. This is to boost her iman and take her child so they don’t feel lonely.
Is there is a dispensation from another school, that I can take if need be?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
Ibn Abideen rahimahullah states that it is disliked for women to attend the congregation. This is due to the widespread evil in these times. If you would still like to attend the congregation, you should have a mahram with you.
Only Allah ﷻ knows best.
