Question:
Assalamu Alaikum,
Is it permissible to have a routine blood test while fasting, or would that break the fast?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
A routine blood test will not break the fast. Those things which reach the stomach through input and not output break the fast. However, if the blood test will cause you to feel weak, it is best to do it when not fasting.
