Question:
If husband & wife are performing Hajj together is one qurbani ok or two?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
Qurbani/Udhiyah is only compulsory (Wajib) if you are Muqeem and you own Nisab during the days of Eid (10th, 11th, 12th of Dhul Hijjah. Thus if you are Muqeem on these days during Hajj, you and your wife must sacrifice separate Qurbanis. You cannot combine your Qurbani. The Qurbani can be done anywhere (e.g. either in the Haram or back in your home country).
If you are Musafir during the days of Eid, you do not have to do Qurbani. However if you are performing Hajj Qiran (Umrah and Hajj in one Ihram) or Hajj Tamattu’ (Umrah and Hajj in separate Ihrams), you must give Damm-e-Shukr in the Haram. We make this sacrifice due to the blessing of Allah Ta’ala upon us that we were able to perform both Umrah and Hajj together in one Safar (journey). Damm-e-Shukr is only Mustahab for a person performing Hajj- e-Ifrad (i.e. performing only Hajj; no Umrah).
Again, you and your wife must give separate Damm-e-Shukr. You cannot combine your Damm-e-Shukr.

فالدَّم في القران عندنا دمُّ الشُّكر، حيث وفِّق (٨) بأداء النُّسكين، ويحلُّ أكل الغني والفقير منه، وعند الشَّافعي رحمه الله دم جنايةٍ باعتبار ترك الطَّواف (٩)؛ لأنَّ القارن عنده لا يطوف إلَّا طوافًا واحدًا، فيكون هذا الدَّم دم الجبر (١٠) فلا يأكل (١١) الغني عند الخصم (١٢).

الأضحية واجبةٌ على كل حرٍ مسلمٍ مقيمٍ موسرٍ، في يوم الأضحى عن نفسه وولده الصغار، يذبح عن كل واحدٍ منهم شاةً أو يذبح بدنةً أو بقرةً عن سبعةٍ.
