Question:
If someone pelted only the first and third jamaraat and left the middle one out, but its still not maghrib time, does he only pelt the one he missed or all 3 again?

Answer:
Pelting the jamaraat (pillars) is waajib and one of the rites of Hajj.
To pelt the jamaraat in order is sunnah, first the smallest, the middle then finally the largest.
However as stated above, the order of pelting the jamaraat is sunnah and is not a condition for the validity of rami (pelting) [1]. Therefore, if someone pelted the first and third jamaraat and left the middle one, his obligation is to pelt the one he missed, provided it is still within the valid time for that day’s Rami. He does not have to repeat in sequence but it is the Sunnah method to do so [2].
