Question:
Can a lady in haid recite the verse ‘ليس لها من دون الله كاشفه’ as part of a aml for shifaa?

Answer:
First of all, may Allah SWT grant all those who are sick shifa and thank you for the question.
As for the question, normally, ladies in hayd are not allowed to recite the Quran, [1] and, to inform, the ayah chosen refers to qiyama not one’s sickness.[2]
However, there are recognised exceptions for reading Quranic ayat not as recitation as tilawat of ayat but for other reasons such as protection or in this case shifa / dua. [3]
Thus, reading parts of Quran intending shifa, not tilawat, is allowed during hayd.
