Question:
Would such a bookmark be problematic?

Answer:
It was narrated that ‘Ali (RA) said: “I made some food and invited the Prophet [SAW] (to come and eat). He came and entered, then he saw a curtain on which there were images, so he went out and said: ‘The Angels do not enter a house in which there are images.'”
[Sunan an-Nasa’i 5351] [1]
As per the above Hadith, it is completely impermissible to draw, create, or display images of living creatures. [2] The above bookmark contains an image of a worm/snake, in which its facial features (eyes, ears, and nose) are clearly visible. Thus, it will not be permissible to utilize such a bookmark because it contains a clear rendering of a living animal.
Please utilize a bookmark that does not contain any images of living beings, and kindly dispose of this bookmark so that its presence does not prevent Angels from entering your home.
